Social Prescribing
Together, connected communities help to reduce isolation and loneliness and bring a sense of belonging.
Social prescribing is where an individual is connected to services or activities in their community, which can help improve their health and well-being. These activities are prescribed as a non clinical alternative to a medical prescription by your GP or Primary Health Care professional.
Managing Dental Problems at Home
Current Scottish Government guidelines are to excercise social distancing and to only allow telephone advice to be given by your dentist. Your dentist may advise painkillers and or antibiotics to help manage your problem. In urgent situations you may be asked to attend a health board site for treatment.
