Help us to Get it Right First Time
The GPs have advised our Reception staff to ask why you are calling for an appointment with the GP. This is so that you are seen by the most appropriate person, at the right time. GP appointments have been used for symptoms that the local Pharmacy, Dentist, Physiotherapy, Optician or the Practice Nurse can see.
Choose the Right Service
We try to keep our GP appointments for patients with more serious health problems.
Before you book an appointment to see a doctor please consider whether an appointment with the Practice Nurse or our Advanced Physiotherapist might be appropriate. They can help you with a wide range of medical problems.
Our Receptionists can help you decide which is the right person for you to see.
Children and young people
Which local service is the right one?
You don't always need to contact or visit your GP practice.
There are many different services and resources that can provide advice to children and young people and those who care for them.

Community Links Workers
A Community Link Worker (CLW), Heather Pearsall, works in our Practice and is part of the Practice Team. She will help you access services to improve your health and well-being. Services might include community groups in your area, advice about money and benefits, coping as a carer, parenting, looking after your own health, benfits, health and housing.
