Morag McVie RGN, BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies, Post Graduate Diabetes Care Management, Post Graduate Asthma Management. Morag is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner based in the Kilmacolm surgery.

Management, Reception and Administration

Our Practice Manager, Rebecca Greene, leads a dedicated team of staff who will help you to make appointments, arrange home visits and repeat prescriptions.

They will pass telephone enquiries to the doctor if they are unable to deal with them directly themselves.

District Nursing Team

We are pleased to have the help and support of an excellent team.

Our District Nurses visit housebound patients and provide holistic care to the practice population. If you require their services you will be referred by a GP from the surgery.

Health Visiting Team

Hannah Macrae and Becky Thompson are Health Visitors involved in the care of babies and children up to the age of 5. The team offer health advice and support to families with young children, including help with parenting and behavioural management and support for women with Post Natal depression. They provide developmental checks, weighing and advice on immunisations. They are based at Port Glasgow Health Centre.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist

Fiona Rough

Fiona offers an alternative to a GP appointment for people with muscle, bone of joint problems. We currently have 2 clinics a week in Kilmacolm.

Community Links Worker

Heather Pearsall is a Community Links Worker who works with our patients and she can help you access services to improve your health and wellbeing. Services might include community groups, advice about money and benefits, coping as a carer, parenting and housing.

CTAC Services

The HSCP Community and Treatment Room Services hold clinics in Kilmacolm and Langbank.

Dylan Morrison is a Health Care Support Worker who runs a clinic in Kilmacolm on Thursday's. Dylan takes bloods, blood pressure, height, weight, diabetic foot checks and can provide health and well being advice.
